I'm happy to have all of you on my blog :), I hope you'll take this opportunity to write what and how you feel about DST. I can't wait to read your thoughts!
For my group,,,group 3,,,we think we want to do the topic about the journey of human life from their baby life until they become a successful person. We want to choose a few units in BIUS's exercise book that are relevance to our topic,,,For example unit 2 (How do colors affect the way we feel?).Otherwise,we maybe decide to combine unit 5 and unit 10 in our topic in DST.
3 October 2011 If we are not forget,,in this date,,,Dr Kemboja have teach my group(group 3) about how to do the Digital Story Telling (DST). For us,,,Dr Kemboja have briefing us about the DST very clearly.Firstly, before this day,Dr. want us to download Microsoft Photo Story 3.This is because from this software,we can make our own DST very easy. From this software,we can edit a few photos and make a story from each of the photo.Beside that,to make the DST more interesting we can add any song that suitable and match with our story. Then,we can also add a story line below the picture. For our group,we feel that this is an interesting assignment because we can enjoy it and at the same time we are learning something new in this semester. We are really enjoy it!!!
Assalamualaikum to all off you.. Firstly,im seriusly want to say sorry to our lecturer dr kemboja because my team little bit late to post something about our progress in DST.. My bad as a leader.=( Ok,lets open the new chapter. Today,2 November 2011. Our group already make a discussion about the topic that have been selected. We already agree that we will seperated our title into 3 smaller parts such as colours phsychology, colour theraphy and colour in business. In this holiday, we will research more information about the 3 new subtopic and will update in this blog again. Thank..=)
Please post your reflection here, at my blog not at my email account. Whatever ideas your group have, put them here so that your friends can read and give their comments. You can also comment their work. The same goes with the other 2 groups :)
Good afternoon everyone especially for my group-group Yan.This morning we already discus with dr Kem to choose our title for DST it is EMOTIONS EQUALS COLORS. For that, we focus the topic that really related such as color psychology, color therapy and color in business.
From our reading, we know that colour psycoholgy able to effect our emotion in daily life. Colour in the red area of the colour spectrum are known as warm colours and include red, orange and yellow. These warm colours can make our feelings of anger and hostility. Besides that, colour on the blue side of the spectrum are known as cool colous include blue, purple and green. These colours are often described as calm, but also call to mind feeling of sadness or indifference. Colours therapy also can treat only using a specific colour.. For Example, red was used to stimulate the body and mind to increase circulation and yellow was thought to stimulate the nerves and purify the body. The meaning of colour in business depending on one's culture, race, gender, and even age. So, it isnt just the selection of colour in general but also which colours to use with your target customers. For exmple colours of emnaing in business marketing at North American culture, White is represant pure, clean, youthful. Its a neutral colour that can imply purity in fashion and sterilization in the medical profession. And the black colour is represant, power, elegant, secretive. the colour black can target your high-end market or be used in youth marketing to add mystery to your image.
According into science of colours, scientists believe that colour can make huge impact on our body and mind. However, scientists know colour influence our body's physiology and mental states. the science of colurs has been used by market researches to determine how best to apply this knowledge to influence customer perception.. Dr, can we combine the information about sciece that effect colur with the colours in business?? I think it little bit same..??
I hope you're making progress in your DST. So far, GroupYan has given their progress reports. I'd like to see other groups' progress reports too. Please don't wait till the last minute.
